This extension is not yet listed or approved in the Chrome Web Store. Installation is optional. You can use the board, resume comparison, and Dice search without it. Adapters may need fixes for your portal layout; we do not guarantee complete imports.
Install in desktop Chrome or Edge
- Download and extract the ZIP into a permanent folder.
- Open
chrome://extensionsoredge://extensions, enable Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted folder with manifest.json. - Review access to the seven portal domains and this beta host. This is a separate extension from any personal/private Application Desk installation.
- Open its popup, read the data disclosure, and enable collection only if you agree. Collection starts off.
- Sign in to a portal yourself and open Applied jobs / Applications. Scroll through every page. The extension only reads rendered cards; it does not sign in or click through your history.
- Open the beta board in the same browser profile. Complete new records can import automatically; inferred fields and changed outcomes require review.
If a scan returns zero
Confirm that you are on the Applied page. Open the popup and choose Scan this Applied page. If automatic detection fails, check the box confirming that the current page is your application history, then scan. Copy page diagnostics and contact support if no cards appear. Saved jobs and general search results should not be marked as application history.
Included adapters
Jobright, LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, Monster, ZipRecruiter, and USAJOBS. Inclusion means an adapter exists, not that every layout has been verified. LinkedIn’s alternate layout uses job-link grouping and holds inferred fields for review. Decisions unavailable on the portal cannot be retrieved.
Pause, update, or remove
Disable collection in the popup to pause. To update an unpacked installation, replace the files in its folder, click Reload on the extensions page, then refresh portal and board tabs. Uninstall the extension to remove its local queue and settings. Use the board’s deletion controls separately for imported records.
